On Monday, January 10th, there was an event called the Winter Club Carnival. The winter club carnival was like a career fair in a way. At the club carnival, there were tables for different clubs and events that you, as a student, can do. Those clubs vary between sports, key club, drama club, student council, or even your very own journalism! The Carnival was a really good opportunity for middle schoolers who are going to high school soon, could come, listen, and maybe even sign up for some different activities. Some of the tables at the carnival had games, make-your-own-cookies, and candy!

The middle school kids got to see what kind of electives they’d like to take, they talked to people in the clubs, and they even got to tour the school! This helps with anxiety for the new kids coming to South next year. All in all, the winter carnival was a success with a good turnout.
