I think it depends on the clubs you’re thinking about and your specific situation. Some clubs only meet every other week, and obviously those are less commitment than, for example, sports, which can take multiple hours out of each day. Also consider other aspects of your life: Are you taking AP classes? Do you have a job? Those take up time also, so you should be realistic about how much you think you can keep up with. It’s definitely a good idea to get involved with school activities; they look good to colleges and can be a great way to make friends. It really just depends on what you feel like you can balance while not being too stressed.  Good luck!
