Meet one of the newest faces at South: Paige Sims! Ms. Sims is the new academic intervention specialist.

Sims previously taught at Sylvan learning center in Pearland, Texas, for 5 years before coming to back to North Dakota. Although, she wasn’t always in education. Sims first job was a busser at Perkins Family Restaurant in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  In her free time, she says “what free time!?”, though she enjoys spending time with her family and the art of crochet. For education, she went to Grand Forks Central high school, then attended UND with a major in math education, and transferred to Concordia to finish her math degree. When we questioned Sims about her thoughts on aliens being real, she responded “yes” in a weary tone, as if she was one of them.
