Girls Tennis: Our girls tennis has had a pretty exciting last few matches. They got their first team win since 2018, beating West Fargo Packers 5-4.  They also played Jamestown in a non-conference match and won 5-0. The girls have also qualified EDC for the first time since 2017. The girls’ hard work has been paying off, way to go lady bruins!

Boys Track: The boys track team took 4th at EDC. There were some very impressive wins at EDC; Justin Zulu won the 200m and Austin Zulu won the 400m. AJ Moore won triple jump and set a new school record. Our 4×2 and 4×4 meter teams won and set EDC meet records. The boys will be competing at state in Bismarck starting on Thursday.

Girls Track: The girls had EDC at home on the 21st and five girls qualified. Their events are the 4×1, 4×2, 1oo meter hurdles, triple jump, and high jump. The girls will going to state in Bismarck on the 25th to the 27th. They are hoping to place at state and beat some personal records. Good luck!

Softball: The softball team is ranked tenth in our conference. There are two returning seniors this year, Nevaeh Anderson and Grace Hoselton, that have been huge leaders this year. The girls didn’t qualify for EDC but coach Molly Lundon says, “Although we didn’t have many wins, the team chemistry was awesome and we are all very excited for next year as we will have five seniors.”

Baseball: The boys baseball team season has come to an end. Carson Bevill says, “A disappointing year for sure but going out there with the boys boys one last time is all that matters”. The highlight of the season is when Max Kirkeby came out of the pen against the Deacons and shutting them down. There will be a lot of holes to fill next year, but the boys are confident. Thank you seniors!

Boys Golf: The boys golf team has had a lot of strong players this year. Ross Gillett, Drew Shambaugh, and Evan Booth have qualified for state. Evan booth also won a tournament that was held in Grand Forks. State is at Heart River Golf Course in Dickinson on June 6-7. Evan booth says his hopes for the state tournament is: “Hope to take the team to state and win”. Good luck boys!
