Attention to all theater lovers: every year at South High, the drama department puts on a fall musical production, this year’s being “Annie.” The musical is being directed by theatre teacher Mr. Nielsen, with Mrs. Lichtblau leading the musical ensemble. The production features an exceptional cast of students who have put in countless hours of hard work in rehearsals to bring this beloved story to the stage.
Ava Grams, who plays the role of Miss Hannigan, had the opportunity to share a few words. “The musical is absolutely packed with upbeat songs and humor that is guaranteed to give a good time,” said Grams. “People should come see the show as there are lots of dances and songs that the audience can recognize.” With popular numbers like “Tomorrow” and “It’s A Hard Knock Life,” this musical is sure to be a hit with audience members of all ages. Not only will the familiarity draw people in, but it’ll also be an opportunity for people to support the hard-working students and staff members that have made this show possible. Showtimes run from November 2-4 at 7:30, and November 5 at 2:00; we hope to see you there!
