Peer to Peer is a class offered at Fargo South High School. Currently, there are only three kids in the class. In Peer to Peer, students learn so much about working with kids with learning exceptionalities. Students who take this class will also learn about IEPs, 504 plans, and so many other things that a school can provide to help kids with learning exceptionalities. The class can be taken for dual credit, so students will able to enroll for free at Valley City College. With Peer to Peer being a college course, the class is done before winter break, so students who take it would have an open period for the rest of the semester while others are in class. Another opportunity is that those who take Peer to Peer are able to become a paraprofessional on their off periods and apply the knowledge that they learned in the class to real life. Right now, Peer to Peer students are creating a sensory room for students at South High. The three students have had to do a lot of research, but it plans to help so many students take breaks throughout the day to help them focus. All in all, it’s an amazing class taught by an understanding teacher. So, if you are looking for an easy class to fill credits, take Peer to Peer!
