South High juniors and seniors volunteered at a record-breaking Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) event. FMSC is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to feeding children all around the globe. They have over 10,000 volunteers each year in the Fargo area alone. Millions of meals are packed by these volunteers. At FMSC, volunteers pack food into a bag, weigh it to make sure it doesn’t weigh too much or too little, seal it, and pack it into a box. FMSC was founded in 1987, and in 2018-2019 alone, they packed nearly 365 million meals for kids. Since 2003, they have been able to pack more than 2 billion meals.
