It’s no secret that the varsity high school basketball team is off to a great start this season, with 10 wins and only 4 losses. While they may not be ranked at the state level, their success at the district level has certainly not gone unnoticed. One of the factors that makes this team so successful is their dynamics and their energy on the court.
“The dynamic of the team is like a family. We bring a lot of energy on and off the court,” commented team member James Hamilton. He is a senior and recently hit his 1000th point back in early December. Hamilton, who plays the role of a leader on the team, explained that his position on the team is to help his teammates around him and make sure they are playing at their best.
This team dynamic is something that has helped this team thrive. Just a few weeks ago, the boys varsity team went against North, the final scores being 102 to 81. Fargo South won the game by 21 points, showcasing their skills and energy. The court was very alive with the players displaying their high energy and ability to communicate. In addition to their strong commitment to winning, the team is also very talented. They have a mix of senior leadership and younger players who are eager to make their mark on the court and achieve their goals.
Overall, the success of the varsity high school basketball team is just one example of how a strong culture and commitment to teamwork can lead to great success. Their energetic and positive attitude towards the game, coupled with their talent and leadership, has helped carry them to achieve their goals this season.
