What made you decide to work as an administrative assistant?
“I’ve been working in similar roles for 20+ years, and I’ve really enjoyed it.”
What did you do before this?
“I was an office administrator for Suite Shots in an HR position, worked with new hires, record keeping and disciplinary action. I was also at Sanford as an executive assistant to the CEO. In addition, I was admin assistant at American Crystal Sugar.”
How do you feel about South so far?
“I really like it. The energy is good and everyone is really nice. It’s much bigger than I expected.”
Do you have plans for the summer?
“I’m interested to see what I have to do; I am a 12-month employee. My daughter and her girlfriend spend a few weeks over and I do a mini summer trip with them and my son and his girlfriend.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes, 2 pit mixes. Hank is 10, blind and perfect in fur. Ollie is 2 and spirited with high energy and high anxiety.”
If you could choose any existing job, what would you do and why?
“I would be a food critic or taste tester, as I love food.”
What made you decide to come to South?
“I heard about an open position that was a good fit for my skills. I heard good things about South and changes occurring from a friend.”
