Dear Sue and Diane,
How do you tell your best friend country music is terrible?
Sincerely, Country Music Hater #1.
Dear Country Music Hater #1,
Everyone has different tastes in music, so it’s normal not to like the same genre. It can be frustrating when a friend likes playing a genre of music that you find no interest in. Suggest they explore other genres—they might find something they enjoy more than country. If that doesn’t work, you could lightheartedly express your feelings by slapping a note on their forehead, but it’s best to stick with the first option.
Sincerely, Sue and Diane.
Dear Sue and Diane,
What is the best way to stay active during the school year in between school work?
Sincerely, That One Guy.
Dear That One Guy,
The best way to stay active during the school year, even with a heavy workload, is to participate in school activities. You can explore various clubs that may interest you or even discover new ones that you hadn’t considered before. If you have a family member, consider working out together at your preferred gym after school.
Sincerely, Sue and Diane.
Dear Sue and Diane,
Why do we get a bunch of days off during the fall, but not during the winter/spring range, when everyone is probably even more sick?
Sincerely, Sick of Winter.
Dear Sick of Winter,
I understand the frustration of not having breaks during the winter; however, it’s important to recognize that if we were to have winter breaks, our spring break would likely need to be shortened. Additionally, the last day of school could be pushed back as a result. These factors can vary depending on whether or not we have winter breaks. Fall breaks help alleviate the academic pressures students face, allowing them to take a much-needed break.
Sincerely, Sue and Diane.
