Congratulations to Steph Kramer, Greta Raum, and Lukas Robinson, for being our school’s three nominees for the NDASSP competition! This is a statewide competition for high school seniors that awards honors based primarily on an applicant’s GPA and either their ACT or SAT score. A principal who is a member of NDASSP– the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals, a group that supports and provides a platform for high school principals– nominates students based on their school’s graduating class size. South was large enough to nominate these three students, designated by the fact that this class has just under 200. The rest of the student’s transcript will also be considered. Twenty of the students from the state will each be awarded Gold, twenty Silver, twenty Bronze, and all other nominees will be known as Honorable Mentions. The awards were released in late February, and Raum was awarded Bronze. She was honored in digital presentations during basketball games this month. This is a huge honor for both her and honorable mentions Kramer and Robinson.
