Review: Christmas Chronicles 2 Worth a Watch

Lexi Lauwers

The Christmas Chronicles 2 is about a girl who comes from a long line of true Christmas believers and a boy who hates humans. It’s worth a watch.

There’s a lot going on in this second movie: Kate’s family goes to the tropics for Christmas. She wants to go back home, which is exactly what she tried to do. The shuttle that was supposed to bring her to the airport didn’t, and Jack sneaks along for the ride.

Then things get interesting.

Kate and Jack get tossed into a wormhole. Santa finds them almost frozen and brings them back to Mrs. Claus. A troubled elf finds his way back into the North Pole ready for revenge. Starting with the elves, they all go crazy forming a distraction so Belsnickel can get to the Christmas star.

Only seven reindeer to save Christmas. A missing Christmas star, Kate and Santa Claus must travel to Turkey to make a new one.  While Santa Claus and Kate are gone, Jack has to climb to the top of a mountain to get a very rare plant to calm the elves. Low Christmas spirit isn’t a good match for the short time they have. Will they save Christmas in time or will Christmas be gone forever?  Find out in the Christmas Chronicles 2.

Personally, I love this movie. It’s a really good piggyback from the first Christmas Chronicles. If you haven’t seen them I really recommend watching them.

I rate this movie a 4.5/5 because it’s overall a great movie. I didn’t dislike any part of it.
