The Silver Monolith Appearance

On November 18th a tall silver monolith like structure was found in Southeastern Utah and disappeared just 10 days after being discovered. It also popped up in California, New Zealand, The Isle of Wight. A lot of curious people are claiming it was a situation of alien placement. It was discovered by the state’s Bureau of Land Management. It was not disclosed right away where the monolith stood because they didn’t want curious hikers to find it and get lost in the remote landscape it was in. Certain people located the coordinates it was in and soon enough it became a tourist attraction for the short amount of time it was there.

A group of artists based in Santa-Fe said that they were responsible for the appearance in Utah. They were then asked if they were responsible for the other ones found around the world. The group was stumped and knew nothing of it. The person behind the monolith, Tom Dunford came forward and said He wanted to start a global phenomenon. He then went on to say, “I’d say mission accomplished. I hope every city gets a monolith. It brings people together and spreads joy.” Though this was his goal the monoliths all got taken down shortly after appearing. The original group that came forward about the monolith had also sold three “authentic alien monoliths” for about $45,000 each.
