Adie Wagner, a Fargo South junior, beat Meghan Roehrich’s basketball point record of 1,745 by getting a 1,746. The game took place at Devil’s Lake High School on a Tuesday. Wagner claims she beat the score by making free throws during the game. 

“My family, friends, and coaches have helped me all the way to this point and I couldn’t be more grateful for them,” she asserted. “I’ve put in a lot of work and time into basketball over the years. Honestly, it didn’t feel like anything in the moment, but afterward, I was filled with joy.”

Wagner’s new plans include getting her name out there to a wider variety of people (coaches etc.), hitting the gym, and improving her own personal skills.
